MT LAUREL – A double dose of energy and enthusiasm has moved to 15 Olmsted Street in the Mt Laurel Town Center and opened 12 Fitness Studios.
B.J. Nichols, with 18 years of athletic training experience, and Doug Beard, a former muscle therapist and flexibility coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, have teamed up to open a client-based studio for personal and small-group training on the first level, with muscle therapy, flexibility training and stretching treatments offered upstairs.
12 Fitness Studios is a client-based program using a kinesis wall offering over 1,500 exercises for sports and athletic training and physical therapy, and free weights.
Nichols offers clients personal training and small-group training tailored to each client’s age and fitness level. He will also offer nutrition plans.
Nichols’ wife, Candace, is planning to join in on the action with special programs for moms and moms-to-be.
Upstairs, Beard offers personalized treatment programs including one-on-one consultations and massage, flexibility and stretching treatments tailored specifically to each client’s needs.
After 14 seasons as the flexibility coach with the Buccaneers, Beard will offer the same services at 12 Fitness Solutions, helping clients with range of motion issues, flexibility and muscle therapy.
“You don’t have to be a professional athlete to be treated like one,” Beard said. “We can offer things to people here that no other place can offer. We care about improving people’s health and life. How can we help people, that’s the goal for both of us.”
