Walter Wilson, Jr., age 87, of Calera, passed away Tuesday, May 24.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Friday, May 26 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Roland Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana City Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Wilson, Sr. and Winnie Wilson; brother, Edgar Wilson; and grandsons, Dewayne Wilson and Chris Horton.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jeanette Langley Wilson; sons, Gary Wilson (Lynn) and Kenneth Wilson (Connie); daughter, Pat Horton; grandchildren, Danny Shiflett (Ester), Misty Wells, Anthony Horton (Jessica), Kendra Nix (Ty), Justin Wilson, Kristin Horton (Blake), and Joey Wilson; 14 great grandchildren; two sisters; and three brothers.
