Charles Weldon, age 70, of Pinson, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 24.

Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m., Saturday, May 27 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. David Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Gardens. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Weldon is preceded in death by his parents, Ham Weldon and Melva Ellison; and sister, Laura Brasher.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Weldon; children, Suzanne Keir (John), Donald L. Hill (Stacy), Tracy Britnell (Gene), and Jason Weldon (Mary Beth); 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Bill Weldon (Barbara J.); sister, Marcy Gwin (Grady); and a world of family and friends.
