Franklin Dale (Frankie D.) Horton, age 57, passed away Sunday, March 26 at his home in Columbiana.

Mr. Horton was born on July 12, 1959 in Shelby County.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Jeanette Horton; daughter, Misty Michelle Wells; son, Charles Anthony Horton (Jessica); brothers, Billy Joe Horton Jr., and Michael Ray Horton; and six grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe Horton Sr., and Allie Faye Carden; brother, Dennis Jerome Horton; and son, Christopher Allen Horton.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
