Emmie McDonald, age 93, of Wilsonville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 2.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4 at Fourmile Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Gary Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Fourmile Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Born in the Fourmile Community on Jan. 21, 1924, Mrs. McDonald was the daughter of Cicero Austin Wilder and Ellie Stone Wilder. She graduated from Shelby County High School in 1942. Following years of taking care of her family and home, she became lunchroom manager at Columbiana Elementary and Elvin Hill Elementary from which she retired in 1982. She also was a faithful, lifelong member of Fourmile Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

Mrs. McDonald is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey W. McDonald; and brothers, Preston Wilder, Frank Wilder, and Paul Wilder.

She is survived by her sons, Randal D. McDonald (Judy) and Tommy McDonald (Sylvia); daughter, Nancy McDonald Paden (Robert); grandchildren, Dylan McDonald, Lance M. Paden, and Shannon M. Clark (Danny); six great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
