Betty “Maureen” (Joiner) Patterson, age 81, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. at Bolton Funeral Home with Pastor David Wooten officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28. Bolton Funeral Home directing. The burial will be at Columbiana City Cemetery.

She was surrounded by her loving family. She was a long time resident of Chelsea, and was a church member of New Life Assembly of God in Westover.

She is survived by her two sons, Eloyd Ray Patterson (Tammy) of Wilsonville and Lee Roy Patterson (Dana) of Chelsea; one grandson, Dalton Patterson; step grandchildren, Kayla DuBois, Scotty Kelley and Stephanie Gardiner; sister, Joyce Landers; brothers, Charles, Rabon and Donald Joiner; half-brother, Jerry Wayne Joiner; and several nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

She is preceded in death by her father, Duke Joiner; mother, Claudia Goswick (Joiner); brothers, Malcom and Waymon Joiner; and sisters, Laura Bradley and Eloise Armstrong.
