Patricia Marie “Patsy” McCranie, age 78, of Harpersville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Vincent First Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Darryl Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Harpersville City Cemetery.

Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

She is a graduate of the University of Alabama, taught in elementary education for nine years at Vincent then taught nineteen years at Coosa Valley Academy. She had a love for children and teaching. She also loved flowers and gardening. She was a member at Vincent First Baptist Church for fifty-five years. She loved the Ruth Sunday School class of which she co-taught.

Mrs. McCranie is survived by her husband, Harold G. “Bud” McCranie; son, Grey McCranie; sisters, Diane Conwill (Sonny) and Sherry Elliott (Stan); and many nieces and nephews.
