Jerry Lance Smith, age 78, of Wilsonville, went home to the Lord Friday, Dec. 30, 2016.

The visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 2 at Vincent Revival Center. The memorial service will follow at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 2 at the church with Jason Allums officiating.

Mr. Smith was born to Mr. and Mrs. D.W. Smith in Shannon on March 19, 1938. He and his brother, Wiley, were owners of Smith’s Camp Resort and Conference Center on Lay Lake in Wilsonville. Jerry was a faithful member of Vincent Revival Center.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Barbara T. Smith; sons, Gregory Lance Smith (Ann) and Barry Regan Smith (Isabel); daughters, Sherrie Lynn Nesmith (Wallace) and Frankie Lynne Sports (Billy); grandchildren, Tara Smith, Savanna Robinson-Powell (Andrew), Alfie Robinson-Powell, Jennifer Esparza (Draper), Jonathan D. Ponder, and Cason L. Ponder; brother, Wiley Smith (Mae); nieces, Suzanne Wannemuehler (Bryant) and Josie Wannemuehler; and numerous other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Vincent Revival Center or the American Heart Association.
