Kenneth B. Bailey, Sr., age 77, of Shelby entered into rest on Saturday, Dec. 17 at Columbiana Health and Rehab Center.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo. Visitation was held one hour prior to service. Rev. Bob Fitzgerald officiated.

Kenneth loved to fish and hunt. He was a mason and a member of Masonic Lodge #70. He was a member of the Baptist Church at Lay Lake.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Jo Bailey; his sons, Kenneth B. Bailey, Jr. (Varonica) of Montevallo and Keith E. Bailey (Jane) of Shelby; brothers, Joe Bailey (Brenda) of Chelsea, Sidney Bailey (Gayle) of Shelby, Danny Bailey of Cullam, Larry Bailey (Sally) of Wilsonville and David Bailey (Ruth) of Westover; grandchildren, Jennifer Corn (Adam), Alyson Burnett (Randy), Paul Bailey, Lily Bailey and Molly Bailey; and great grandchildren, Bentley Corn, Jackson Burnett and Cooper Burnett.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Frances Bailey; sister in law, Helen Groff Bailey.
