HOOVER – The Walmart store off U.S. 280 was evacuated for about an hour on Nov. 7 after receiving a bomb threat.
Hoover Police Department’s Bomb Squad responded to the business at about 11:30 a.m., after a threat was called into the store, according to HPD Lt. Keith Czeskleba.
The building was searched while employees and customers were evacuated to the parking lot.
“Nothing was found, and business returned to normal,” Czeskleba said.
The threat is under investigation, Czeskleba said. No charges have been filed.
