James Thompson, age 77, of Wilsonville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 8 at Union-The Church at Chelsea Park with Rev. Henry Prater officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 8 at the church. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Estelle Thompson; sons, Jason Thompson and Randy Thompson; daughter, Bonita Pearson; sister, Charlotte Beckom; brother, Bill Thompson; numerous grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
