The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from July 31-Aug. 8:

 

July 31

•Miscellaneous incident from the 400 Block of Bates Road, Vincent.

•Felony theft of property third degree from the 16000 Block of Hwy. 61, Wilsonville. An iPad valued at $600 was stolen.

•Theft of property fourth degree from 100 Block of Weeping Circle, Wilsonville. $120 was stolen.

•Failure to pay for gasoline from the 1500 Block of Hwy. 70, Columbiana. $20.14 in gasoline was stolen.

•Driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage from Hwy. 119/Grandview Farm Drive, Montevallo.

•Criminal mischief third degree from the 1300 Block of Newsome Road, Wilsonville. The rear glass of a 2015 Jeep Patriot valued at $300 was broken.

•Civil dispute from the 100 Block of Idle Wood Drive, Wilton.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 2900 Block of Westover Road, Westover.

•Fire investigation from the 500 Block of Edgeland Road, Vandiver. A mobile home and personal property valued at $15,000 was damaged/destroyed.

•Domestic investigation from the 1000 Block of Ashmore Lane, Birmingham.

•Felony unlawful breaking and entering vehicle and theft of property fourth degree from the 100 Block of Hwy. 54, Montevallo. An extension ladder valued at $300 was stolen.

•Miscellaneous information from the 600 Block of County Road 8, Wilton.

•Felony theft of property from the 700 Block of Willow Leaf Road, Harpersville. A paint quarter breed horse, Apaloosa breed horse and Shetland breed horse valued at a total of $2,600 were stolen.

 

Aug. 1

•Felony destruction of state property from the 300 Block of McDow Road, Columbiana. A sprinkler head valued at $500 was damaged/destroyed.

•Felony unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and felony theft of property from 16077 U.S. Hwy. 280, Chelsea. An unknown quantity of Soma, unknown quantity of Xanax, sunglasses, headphones, handgun and flat iron valued at a total of $1,900 was stolen.

•Felony unlawful possession/receipt of a controlled substance from 380 McDow Road, Columbiana. Various substances believed to be illicit drugs were recovered.

•Felony unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle from the 100 Block of County Road 260, Maylene. E-cigarette liquid, cell phone case, insulin and prescription medication were stolen.

•Identity theft from the 800 Block of County Road 89, Montevallo.

•Criminal mischief from the 100 Block of Hwy. 219, Montevallo. The front windshield of a vehicle was damaged/destroyed.

•Permitting dogs to run at large and property damage from the 3300 Block of Hwy. 61, Columbiana. A duck was damaged/destroyed.

•Driving under the influence of alcohol from the 3000 Block of Inverness Lane, Birmingham.

•Fire investigation from the 3000 Block of Keswick Circle, Birmingham. On overhead light ballast was damaged/destroyed.

•Harassment from the 100 Block of Plaza Circle, Alabaster.

•Domestic investigation from the 4100 Block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham.

•Miscellaneous information (suicide attempt) from the 4600 Block of Hwy. 280, Birmingham.

•Felony unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 4100 Block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham. A wallet, driver’s license and Social Security card were stolen.

•Theft of property fourth degree from 5492 Hwy. 280, Birmingham.

•Domestic violence-harassment from the 11500 Block of Chelsea Road, Chelsea.

•Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 700 Block of Shelby Forest Trail, Chelsea.

•Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 10000 Block of Hwy. 280, Sterrett.

•Domestic violence-harassment from the 11500 Block of Chelsea Road, Chelsea.

•Property damage from the 6000 Block of Chelsea Road, Columbiana. A 2008 Chrysler Town and Country van was damaged.

•Driving under the influence at the intersection of Fairbank Way and Chelsea Park Drive, Chelsea.

•Harassing communication and criminal mischief from the 100 Block of Lake Drive, Shelby. A front door and oak tree were damaged/destroyed.

•Harassing communications from the 1400 Block of Hwy. 441, Wilsonville.

•Trespassing from the 3500 Block of Cahaba Beach Road, Birmingham.

 

Aug. 2

•Miscellaneous information from the 9700 Block of Hwy. 42, Shelby.

•Death investigation from Nolen Lane, Alabaster.

•Driving under the influence from Hwy. 280 at County Road 41, Birmingham. A pistol was confiscated.

•Suicide attempt from the 0 Block of Nolen Street, Birmingham.

•Death investigation from the 1000 Block of Dunnavant Place, Birmingham.

•Miscellaneous incident-property damage from the 5000 Block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham. There was damage to the front-right side of a 2009 Nissan Rogue.

•Harassing communications and trespassing from the 5400 Block of Hunt Cliff Road, Birmingham.

•Felony theft of property from the 300 Block of Paradise Way, Wilsonville. A large outdoor umbrella with concrete base and iron outdoor table with four chairs valued at a total of $900 were stolen.

•Possession of marijuana from the 100 Block of Davis Street, Wilsonville. Approximately 16 grams of marijuana was confiscated.

•Felony theft of property second degree and felony unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 3000 Block of Hwy. 39, Chelsea. A Glock 26 9mm was stolen.

•Felony theft of property and violation of domestic violence protection order from the 100 Block of South Hill Drive, Wilsonville. Phentermine pills and written prescription for prostate medication were stolen.

•Felony domestic violence-strangulation from the 0 Block of Hwy. 255 Montevallo.

•Domestic investigation from the 600 Block of Depot Street, Wilton.

•Felony theft of property first degree from Mapplecrest Drive, Westover. A 1999 Mazda Protégé was stolen.

 

Aug. 3

•Domestic violence-harassment from the 800 Block of Hwy. 31, Alabaster.

•Domestic violence-harassing communications from the 4000 Block of Hwy. 71, Shelby.

•No plainly visible tag and fleeing or attempting to elude from Hwy. 47 near Hwy. 99, Shelby.

•Property damage from Hwy. 280 and Klein Road, Harpersville.

•Criminal mischief and criminal trespassing from the 9800 Block of Hwy. 11, Chelsea. One pallet of sod grass and a set of Bobcat keys valued at a total of $225 were damaged/destroyed.

•Theft of property fourth degree and criminal trespassing from the 600 Block of Hwy. 46, Shelby. Miscellaneous clothes valued at $100 were stolen.

•Domestic investigation from the 7000 Block of Chelsea Road, Lot 5, Chelsea.

•Felony theft of property and felony criminal mischief from the 100 Block of Hwy. 437, Chelsea. 74 power poles, a gate and substation door were damaged/destroyed, and an unknown amount of copper valued at $5,000 was stolen.

•SORNA violation-adult sex offender-registration with local law enforcement from 380 McDow Road, Columbiana.

•Felony sexual abuse from the 3000 Block of Colesbury Drive, Hoover.

•Identity theft from the 4600 Block of Hwy. 43.

•Domestic investigation from the 100 Block of Hollow Oak Drive, Bessemer.

•Civil dispute from the 300 Block of Forest Lakes Drive, Chelsea.

•Trespassing from the 5200 Block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.

•Domestic investigation from the 0 Block of Clover Lane, Montevallo.

•Miscellaneous incident-civil dispute from the 6000 Block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.

•Property damage from an unlisted location. A 2014 BMW 428i was damaged/destroyed.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 1100 Block of Barristers Court, Birmingham.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 200 Block of Hwy. 315, Columbiana.

•Felony burglary from the 1000 Block of Baldwin Lane, Birmingham. A pedestal mount of a white-tailed deer, hunting stands, feeders, four firearms, GoPro cameras a Sony HD professional camera, and miscellaneous hunting bows, arrows, cases, binoculars, range finders, broadheads, sights and hunting supplies/equipment valued at a total of about $30,000 was stolen.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 2000 Block of Hebb Road, Wilsonville.

•Harassing communications from the 6900 Block of Hwy. 71, Shelby.

•Miscellaneous incident from 158 Hwy. 337, Chelsea, Chelsea Middle School.

•Miscellaneous information from Green Springs Highway South at Interstate 65 South, Birmingham.

•Felony unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from the 6000 Block of Hwy. 71, Shelby. A bottle containing about 48 Percocet 7.5 mg was stolen.

•Felony theft of property from the 300 Block of Hwy. 200, Montevallo. A white gold wedding set, gold ring with a pink ruby and white gold engagement ring with circle diamond with a total value of $2,300 was stolen.

•Felony burglary from the 5000 Block of County Road 61, Columbiana. A Philips 49-inch television, Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 games with a total value of $1,000 were stolen.

•Civil dispute from the 100 Block of Alexander Road, Leeds.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 12000 Block of Hwy. 43, Vandiver.

•Theft of property fourth degree-shoplifting from 16077 Hwy. 280/Walmart. Four Moet wines valued at $49.28 were stolen.

•Assault from 380 McDow Road, Columbiana.

•Felony theft of property from the 1800 Block of Rock School Road, Harpersville. 81 10 mg Norco tablets were stolen.

•Felony fraudulent use of credit/debit card from the 100 Block of Blacksmith Lane, Wilsonville. An unknown Paypal account valued at $30,000 was stolen.

•Felony theft of property from the 16000 Block of Hwy. 42, Shelby. Prescription Clonazepam was stolen.

•Domestic violence-harassment from the 100 Block of Birmingham Street, Wilton.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 100 Block of Hill Street, Wilsonville.

A pink Kate Spade purse; pink Kate Spade wallet containing credit card, bank card and drivers license; $250 cash; and checkbook valued at a total of $900 were stolen. A rear passenger side window of a BMW X5 was damaged/destroyed.
