FROM STAFF REPORTS

HELENA–At approximately 11 a.m. on April 26, a motor vehicle struck a power pole on Shelby County 52 at Shelby County 93 in Helena.

Active power lines are across the roadway, which will be closed for several hours, according to a Shelby County Sheriff’s Office press release.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
