Lorelei Scarlett Mooney was born Dec. 29, 2015, and weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces.

Lorelei is the daughter of Steven and Rhiannan Mooney of Calera.

She is the granddaughter of Gary and Robin Blake of Ashville and Sherrell and Annette Mooney of Columbiana.

She is the great-granddaughter of Doug and Nancy Runyan and the late Ronnie and Ruby Blake, the late Elizabeth Dill, the late Bryan McDonald and the late Calvin and Vivian Mooney.

Lorelei was welcomed by lots of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
