PELHAM— For the first time in 24 years, Jimmy Buffett is performing in Pelham at the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre April 19. Buffett will be kicking off the venue’s 30^th anniversary concert season.

Journey, The Doobie Brothers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Heart with Joan Jett, The Blackhearts and Cheap Trick are also part of the 30^th anniversary season, according to Ticketmaster.com.

Buffett is best known for his music portraying an island lifestyle and humorous personal experiences. Hits include, “Margaritaville,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and “Brown-eyed Girl.”

The concert will start at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 19. Tickets go on sale Jan. 22 at 10 a.m.
