VINCENT – For the first time in over a month, the Yellow Jackets put some points on the board. And, for the first time all season, Vincent saw itself in the lead of a game for a time. Jordan Smith punched in an eight-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter of Vincent’s Oct. 23 contest against R.C Hatch to take an early 7-0 lead, breaking a scoring drought that has lasted since early September.
R.C. Hatch responded in the second with three touchdowns, and took a 20-7 lead into the break. After three quarters the score was 42-7, and the final was 50-7 in favor of the visitors.
Vincent falls to 0-9 and will finish the season on Thursday night.
