CHELSEA—A North Shelby man is facing an indecent exposure charge after he allegedly exposed himself to a victim on U.S. 280.
Dylan Michael Massey, 24, was taken into custody by Shelby County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Sept. 16 and charged with one misdemeanor count of indecent exposure.
According to his arrest warrant, Massey allegedly exposed his genitals to a victim “under circumstances in which he knew his conduct was likely to cause affront or alarm in a public place.”
The complaint, filed with the SCSO on Aug. 31, alleges Massey exposed himself to the victim while in traffic on U.S. 280 in Chelsea.
Massey was placed in jail following his arrest on Sept. 16 and posted the $1,000 bail the same day.
Massey is scheduled to appear in front of Shelby County District Court Judge Daniel Crowson on Oct. 26 at 1:30 p.m.
Indecent exposure is a Class A misdemeanor. If found guilty, Massey could face up to one year in the Shelby County Jail.
