The following are incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from Aug. 14-19

 

 

August 14

-Fraudulent use of a credit/debit card from Highway 435, Columbiana (other/unknown). Stolen was $371.

 

August 15

-Burglary from the 4900 block of Old Hickory Circle, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 700 block of Forest Lakes Drive, Sterrett (residence/home). Stolen was a Vera Bradley wallet, credit and debit cards, an Alabama driver’s license, Social Security cards, a boy’s Velcro wallet and approximately $6 in US currency.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 600 block of Forest Lakes Drive, e (residence/home). Stolen were a mens wallet, credit and debit cards, an Alabama driver’s license, a US passport card and a US Military ID.

-Theft of property from Ewing Street, Montevallo (residence/home). Stolen was a 42-inch Cub Cadet lawn mower valued at $1600.

 

August 16

-Runaway Juvenile from Vincent (residence/home).

-Rape from the 1000 block of Valley View Road, Pelham.

-Duty upon striking unattended vehicle from the 0 block of Manning Place, Birmingham (parking lot/garage). Damaged was the rear bumper of a 2006 Mercedes CLS 55 A&G.

 

August 17

-Miscellaneous information from Cameron Drive and Woodbridge Drive, Chelsea (highway/street). Damaged were a stop sign/ street signs.

-Criminal mischief from the 7000 block of Highway 11, Chelsea (residence/home). Damaged was a window in the amount of $50.

-Criminal mischief from Springfield Drive, Chelsea (residence/home). Damaged was a Falken Sincera in the amount of $1100.

-Driving under the influence of alcohol from Cahaba Valley Road at Cahaba Valley Trace, Birmingham (highway/street).

-Miscellaneous incident from the 11000 block of Highway 55, Sterrett (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident from the 5400 block of Highway 280, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Identity theft from the 900 block of Geene Reed Road, Birmingham (other/unknown).

-Theft of property from Highway 280 (other/unknown). Stolen were an orange and white Echo 16-inch chainsaw valued at $300, 2 Moultree game cameras valued at $160 and 2 SD cards for game cameras valued at $150.

-Theft of property from the 5600 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham (school/college). Stolen were 3 iPad minis valued at $350 a piece.

-Death investigation from the 100 block of Cove Court, Wilsonville (residence/home).

-Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from Highway 47 at Highway 99, Shelby (highway/street). Confiscated was a blue and green gel container containing residue.

-Domestic violence (strangulation) and domestic violence (menacing) from the 600 block of Highway 491, Vandiver (residence/home).

-Identity theft from the 9100 block of South Main Street, Wilsonville (other/unknown).

-Chemical endangerment of a child from the 200 block of Verda Green Lane, Columbiana (residence/home).

-Chemical endangerment of a child from the 200 block of Verda Green Lane, Columbiana (residence/home).

August 18

-Domestic violence (harassment) from Blackstone Court, Chelsea (highway/street).

-Harassing communications from the 1000 block of Kerry Drive, Calera (residence/home).

-Property damage from the 700 block of McGowin Road (parking lot/garage). Damaged was the side mirror on a 2009 Dodge Charger in the amount of $50.

-Burglary III from the 53000 block of Highway 25, Vandiver (residence/home). Stolen was Oxycodone/Acetamophine.

-Domestic violence (harassment) from the 3000 block of County Road 45, Vandiver (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous information from the 200 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Sexual abuse of a child under 12 from the 11000 block of Highway 17, Maylene (residence/home).

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle from the 100 block of Weeping Circle, Wilsonville (residence/home). Stolen were a beach towel, a pair of gym shorts, a pair of Windjammer Speedos, a zombie bait tshirt, a can of pre-workout formula, a pair of swim goggles and a 31 red gym bag.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 100 block of Willow View Lane, Wilsonville (residence/home). Stolen were a pack or Marlboro light cigarettes and a US Navy jacket.

-Forgery from the 12000 block of Highway 43, Vandiver (residence/home).

 

August 19

-Domestic investigation from the 1200 block of Heatherbrook Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident from the 600 block of Mountain Laurel Court, Hoover (residence/home). Damaged was a pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana.

-Public intoxication and unlawful possession of marijuana from the 1000 block of 1^st Street North, Alabaster (other/unknown).

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and criminal mischief from the 200 block of Willow View Circle, Westover (residence/home). Damaged was the center console handle on a 2010 Jeep Wrangler.

-Missing person from the 100 block of School Road, Shelby (residence/home).

-Harassment from the 2300 block of Highway 39, Chelsea (school/college).

-Harassment from the 4000 block of Forest Lakes Road, Sterrett (residence/home).

-Harassment from the 11000 block of Highway 42, Shelby (restaurant).

-Theft of property from Clear Springs Way, Shelby (residence/home). Stolen was a child’s Razor Scooter valued at $400 and PlayStation games valued at $80.

-Public intoxication from the 1000 block of Highway 52, Helena (construction).

-Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Chism Circle, Montevallo (residence/home).

-Theft of property from Chelsea (supermarket). Stolen was a 48-inch Sony television valued at $488.32.

-Harassment from the 4000 block of Forest Lakes Road, Sterrett (residence/home).
