Claude T. Dellinger, age 88, of Conyers, Ga., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18.
He was a graduate of Harding High School in Charlotte, N.C. He was a US Air Force and US Army veteran of World War II, and was present at the Nuremberg Trials. He was Southeast Regional Service Manager of Euclid, Inc. in Atlanta. He loved to read, collect books and coins, and travel.
Claude was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Willie Davis Dellinger; son, David Thomas Dellinger; and brothers, Floyd Homer Dellinger, Jr. and Marshall E. Dellinger.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Margaret Harding Dellinger; children, Denise D. Graham (Pete) of Alabaster and Keith Floyd Dellinger of Conyers, Ga.; step-children, Deborah Kay Robinson of Port Angeles, Wash., Kathy Robinson Doss (Randy) of Morris, Jeffery Allen Robinson (Patti) of Mt. Olive, Cynthia Denise Green of Fultondale, and Tammy Robinson Adams (Don) of Trussville; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and brother, George Reid Dellinger of Charlotte, N.C.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 21 from 10:30-11:15 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). A committal service will follow at 11:45 a.m. at Alabama National Cemetery.
