Helena Market Days to kick off June 6

Helena Market Days will kick off another season making available area farm-grown fresh produce and promoting healthy eating on June 6 with Chef Jason Shipp from The Coal Yard preparing Grilled Grouper with a Summer Succotash at 9 a.m.
Musical guests will be Zach + Cheyloe and the featured non-profit will be ICES – The International Cultural Exchange Services.
On June 13, the always amazing Chef Chris Vizzina will return as guest chef. And on July 18, Chef Randall Baldwin from Dyson Low Country Cuisine.
July 11 will bring the Best Butt in Helena BBQ contest.
Returning and new vendors are Evans Farms, Taylor Hatchett with Boozer Farms, Allen Mills with Prattville Honey Farm.
Future Saturdays will have performances by Intermission (Barbara Synder and Joshua Arnold), Sticks and Strum, Leah Rose, The Greenies, Katie Searcy, Tiere Leftwich, Heather Batey Voice Studio and Jerremy Moore Band.
Upcoming non-profits will include LifeSouth Bloodmobile, Alabama Partners for Clean Air, American Red Cross, Helena Belles, Usborne Books, Friends of the Jane B. Holmes Library and Decoding Dyslexia.
