MT LAUREL—Summer is back and so is Mt Laurel’s weekly farmers market. Set up along Manning Place each Saturday through the summer and early fall, the farmer’s market offers fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious baked goods and a variety of arts and crafts from local farmers and artisans.

“I think people will be able to find a wide range (of goods),” EBSCO Development Company Marketing and Community Relations Manager Julianna Vance said.

The first farmers market of this season will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, and Vance said she expects around 20 booths of vendors selling everything from fresh strawberries and peaches to homemade salsa and woodwork items.

The farmers market is a longstanding Mt Laurel tradition and makes for a great weekend family outing. After shopping at the market, families often stop to grab lunch at the restaurants located in the heart of Mt Laurel.

“It’s a family thing,” Vance said. “It has gone on for years… people love it.”

The market will be held in Mt Laurel each Saturday, beginning June 6 and continue through mid-October. For more information, visit Mtlaurel.com.
