The following are incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from March 16-March 19

 

Mar.16

-Allow dogs to roam from 200 block of Robertson Lane, Sterrett (residence/home). Damages were done to a yellow Labrador.
-Criminal mischief from US 69, Chelsea (highway/street). Damages valued at $150 were done to a passenger door window.

-Carrying a concealed weapon from US 70 at McDow Road, Columbiana (highway/street). Confiscated was a firing apparatus disguised to be a flashlight and three bullets.

-Criminal mischief from 1000 block of US 435, Columbiana (residence/home). Damages valued at $250 were done to the rear of a mobile home door.

-Death investigation from 3700 block of Shoals Court, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Burglary from 300 block of County Road, Shelby (residence/home). Stolen were two packs of cigarettes, an Ipod nano valued at $150, and a pair of black and orange shoes valued at $30.

-Burglary from 4000 block of US 55, Wilsonville (residence/home). Damages valued at $500 were done to a house door and door frame. Stolen was a Smith and Wesson 9mm valued at $650, a black Crossbreed holster valued at $85, a Mossberg 22 rifle with a Busnell scope valued at $500, A Remington 700 rifle valued at $700, a Winchester 30-30 rifle valued at $800, and a Mossberg 500 12 gauge pump shotgun valued at $450.

-Burglary from 1400 block of Wilderness Trail, Shelby (residence/home). Stolen was an Xbox 360 valued at $105. Damages valued at $480 were done to a house.

-Burglary from 14000 block of County Road 61, Wilsonville (residence/home). Stolen was a Remington 20 gauge Sportsman valued at $750, a Remington 12 gauge valued at $750, a camouflage soft shotgun case valued at $35, and a brown soft shotgun case valued at $35. Damages valued at $200 were done to a door.

-Missing persons from 0 block of Kingbrew Drive, Chelsea (residence/home).

-Burglary from 2900 block of Clydebank Circle, Birmingham (residence/home). Stolen was an Apple Macbook Pro valued at $1,200, an Apple Ipad 64GB valued at $600, an Apple Ipod touch 64GB valued at $400 and charging cables.

-Death investigation from 3000 block of Inverness Landing, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Fraudulent use of credit card from 100 block of Eddings Lane, Alabaster. Stolen was US currency valued at $475.

-Death investigation from 100 block of Chestnut Lane, Helena (residence/home).

-Harassment from 100 block of Turtle Dove Lane, Maylene (residence/home).

-Property damage from 900 block of Highland Lane, Birmingham (parking lot/garage). Damages valued at an unknown value were done to a rear bumper.

-Driving under the influence from Indian Valley Road, Birmingham (highway/street).

-Miscellaneous information from US 47, Chelsea (parking lot/garage).

-Harassment from Indian Valley Road, Birmingham (highway/street).

-Found property from George Roy Parkway at Nottingham, Calera (highway/street). Recovered was a black leather wallet.

-Domestic investigation from 100 block of Horseback Trail, Shelby (residence/home).

-Domestic violence-harassment from 1000 block of Crawford Court, Chelsea (residence/home).

-Domestic investigation from 4500 block of US 47, Shelby (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident from Kinnebrew Drive, Chelsea (residence/home).
-Theft of property from 200 block of Kensington Manor Drive, Calera (residence/home). Stolen was a debit card transaction valued at $998.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (highway/street). Confiscated were .5 grams of crystal meth, a pink and gray coin purse, a used hypodermic needle, a broken metal spoon, and a half of a plastic straw.

-Identity theft from 5300 block of Hunt Cliff Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Theft of property from 2000 block of Eagle Point Drive, Birmingham (residence/home). Stolen was a 2007 gold Chevy Tahoe valued at $14,000.

-Missing person from 7000 block of Bent River Court, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Theft of property from 5200 block of Meadow Brook Road, Birmingham (other/unknown). Stolen was copper tubing valued at $2,000.
