The Cornerstone softball Lady Chargers played an area doubleheader on Tuesday, March 17 against Chambers Academy. The Lady Chargers won both games by a combined total of 16-4. They divided the scoring equally, knocking eight runs across the plate in both games.

Megan Garst was on the mound for the duration of the evening, throwing an impressive two complete games. Garst struck out a ridiculous 24 batters and also went 4-8 from the plate over the course of the day. Lorin Rodgers led the way offensively for Cornerstone during the doubleheader, going 3-5 from the plate. Audrey Davis also went 4-8 while LB Franklin was 3-6 with a home run, her second of the season.
