COLUMBIANA–Mundy Motor Company has opened its new store on 208 West College St. in Columbiana after moving from Chelsea for a chance for more growth.

Owner Chris Mundy said the main reason for moving the business to Columbiana was because of the location, and because U.S. 280 is mainly used by commuters.

“Here in Columbiana, it’s a town and there’s a chance for growth,” said Mundy. “We want to build a longtime business here and we like the vision that the town of Columbiana has going for it.”

Mundy Motor Company sells quality used cars, trucks and SUVs and Mundy has more than 20 years experience in the industry, spending the last seven years at Mundy.

“My mission for Mundy Motor Company is to treat every customer like I would a member of my family,” said Mundy. “We sell quality used vehicles and I take pride in what we do. If we mess something up, we fix it. Very few people have a good reputation in the car business, but I strive for that.”

Mundy will travel the southeast every week to find a variety of cars, trucks and SUVs looking in different states to find vehicles for his business.

Mundy Motor Co. is located on West College Street across the street from Jack’s.
