HELENA — The Helena Huskies played host to the Pleasant Grove Spartans on Oct. 30 in the final contest of the regular season.
The Huskies came up short, falling to the Spartans, 21-7. Stats were unavailable at press time.
With the loss, the Huskies fell to 5-5 on the season, but the squad will suit up for at least one more contest, as the Huskies made AHSAA history by clinching a playoff spot in the program’s first season. The playoff berth makes Helena one of only two schools in AHSAA history to clinch a postseason appearance in its inaugural season.
The Huskies will travel to Mobile to take on St. Paul’s on Nov. 6.
