COLUMBIANA–The Shelby County College and Career Center will be hosting an Open House on Oct. 23 beginning at 9 a.m. for members of the business, industry and postsecondary community.

SCCCC is a career-technical High School campus that serves grades 10-12 and offers 13 career-technical tracks.

SCCCC also offers two programs that allow students to receive all academics on our campus. SUCCESS and CAPs (Career Academy Programs). Students also shuttle to the SCCCC campus to attend a program of their choice and shuttle back to their base school.

The business/industry open house will provide an opportunity for people to tour the campus, meet students and faculty and learn more about the college and career standards.

The goal is to strengthen relationships with local industries through advisory council memberships and connections to campus events such as the annual career expo/open house for current and prospective students.

Tours will begin at 9 a.m. with lunch being provided from 12-1 p.m., and tours will resume after lunch until 4 p.m.
