The Cornerstone Christian Chargers opened their season with a tough opponent in AISA Class A region foe Chambers Academy.

The two squads engaged in an absolute shootout, with the Chargers holding a 33-32 lead late in the fourth quarter. After driving down deep in the Chargers’ territory, Chambers attempted a game-winning field goal with 4.5 seconds left. The kicked sailed wide left, and the Chargers held on for the win.
