Joseph Lee Horton

Joseph Lee Horton, age 40, of Wilsonville, lost his courageous battle with cancer and went home to Jesus on July 18, 2014. Joseph was employed with Resolute for 17 years as a millwright planner. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Joseph excelled in RC Car Racing, earning many race awards. He enjoyed many weekends with his boys participating in these sports. Joseph was also a member of Wilsonville Baptist Church.
Joseph is survived by his loving spouse of 20 years, Angela Dawn Horton; two loving sons, Clint and Austin Horton; his mother, Helen C. Davis (Johnny Wesley); and father, Billy Joe Horton (Barbara). He is preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Dale Horton.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on July 22 at Wilsonville Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Thomas officiating. Bolton Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Wilsonville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on July 21 at Bolton Funeral Home.
