Senior pets looking for a great place to retire

Meet Harvey and Eunice. They both qualify for our special program, Seniors for Seniors. Thanks to a grant from the Daniel Foundation, Senior Citizens (60 years and older), approved for adoption at our shelter can now have their adoption fee waived when matched up with a senior pet (6 years and older). And keep in mind senior pets can make a great match for a person of any age. The “what you see is what you get” aspect can make it easier to decide how they may fit into your family dynamic.
Harvey is an 8-year-old Boxer mix. This boy is the epitome of cool, calm and collected. Harvey is relaxed on a leash, ready to snuggle for a nap, and eager to find a family that loves him just the way he is. He has a few moles that are due to age, but no worries, we do not charge extra for extra character.
Eunice is a 13-year-old short-haired cat. Between her name and her purr-fect personality, she became a favorite the second she arrived. Eunice is loveable and laid-back. She does prefer to be your only cat and would like a quiet home, with good people, good food and a great sunny perch.
Senior pets merit all the love and affection a puppy and kitten tend to elicit from us, and they certainly deserve a happy home and loving family for all their remaining years.
