Meet Boss and Rose

This week we feature Boss and Rose. They are Pit Bull mixes that are hug-a-bull, adore-a-bull and completely love-a-bull.
Boss is 1-year-old and weighs about 60lbs. He has no idea how much he weighs; he just knows if you are sitting down, in your lap is the place to be. Boss is an easygoing pooch and has aspirations to become a great couch potato. He knows how to make new friends with every person he meets (by sitting in their lap, of course).
Rose is 3-years-old and weighs about 50lbs. She is a gentle, shy girl and is sad in the shelter setting. She needs a family that will provide her with structure so as her confidence builds she know how best to please her family. She would make a great companion for someone looking for a true best friend.
Both are looking for an inside home to be near their people and will need regular exercise. They are large and strong dogs that may not be the right fit for families with small children as they may jump or knock them over while playing. Boss and Rose will be at their best with some basic obedience training—when they are able to show off how smart they are and how much they want to please you.
