Highway 280 reopens to traffic after wreck

NORTH SHELBY —An April 8 car accident that closed U.S. 280 westbound near Meadowlark Drive and Corporate Parkway has been cleared, according to a Shelby County Sheriff’s Office news release.

As of 2:32 p.m., the road was cleared and reopened to regular traffic. The sheriff’s office urges motorists to continue to use caution.
