Ron and Leigh Ten Berge know better than to believe stereotypes about the South or any other region in the country.

After all, the couple had called five states –California, New Jersey, Illinois, Iowa and Oregon – home before moving to Alabama in July 2013.

“I think there are very nice people everywhere, and I’ve definitely found that to be true here,” Leigh said. “People have been very kind. The Mt Laurel community, especially, is wonderful…”
