CALERA—Roy Downs Memorial Library will offer free tax preparation on Tuesday, March 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

IRS-certified volunteers will proved free basic income tax return preparation for all qualifying individuals with a yearly income under $52,000.

The process should take from 30 to 45 minutes and all interested participants should call ahead to make an appointment and avoid a long wait, said executive director Janet Greathouse.

“The volunteers will bring laptops and printers. It will all be taken care of right away,” Greathouse said.
