SHELBY COUNTY—Shelby County Emergency Management will host a National Weather Service SKYWARN Spotter Class at North Shelby Baptist Church on Feb. 27 at 6 p.m.

This class will teach Shelby County residents how to identify weather hazards and seek protection during severe weather. The class is free to the public and will last approximately two hours. There are no registration requirements.

North Shelby Baptist Church is located at 4100 Belcher Drive in Birmingham, and easily accessible from U.S. 280. It is located just south of Double Oak Mountain near The Narrows.
