HARPERSVILLE—Harpersville Mayor Theoangelo Perkins praised existing businesses and promised great things to come for the town of Harpersville at the South Shelby Chamber of Commerce luncheon Feb. 6.
The Budweiser plant has provided more than 80 jobs in the town, and promise to provide at least 80 more in the coming year, Perkins reported.
Perkins also spotlighted a variety of new businesses in the area such as a new hair salon, boutique, batting cages, yoga studio and a pharmacy that recently returned. Perkins announced that an antique store will be opening soon in the area.
“Great things are happening in a few weeks from now,” he said. “Soon we’ll have a really good announcement.”
