COLUMBIANA – A new car wash opened Saturday, Jan. 4 on Highway 25 in Columbiana, across from Beverly’s Barbecue.
Klassic Car Wash and Detailing, owned by Columbiana resident Corey Wilson, will offer buffing, shampooing, detailing and “whatever needs to be done,” according to Wilson. All services are offered by appointment only.
Wilson said he understands the need for employment and the importance of giving back to the community he’s been a part of since 1970.
“The economy needs jobs. There’s been a decrease in employment. People need help,” Wilson said.
The car wash will initially have just three employees, including Wilson, but will look to hire more workers as business increases. Wilson will also offer discounts to senior citizens and military personnel, giving them $5 off on Mondays.
Wilson has owned two other car washes in the past five years, including Wilson Car Wash and Detail on Highway 47.
He says that his originality and commitment to detail and quality set his services apart from the competition.
Unlike other car wash services, Wilson chooses to hand wash every car, instead of using pressure washers.
“I give cars what they need, just some tender-loving care,” Wilson said.
Wilson is a professional washer and guarantees that all services at Klassic Car Wash and Detailing will be professional as well.
“If you’re looking for quality, I’m your man,” Wilson said.
