Tew-Oliver

Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lamar Tew of Dothan announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Anne, to Nicholas Alexander Oliver, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Edward Oliver of Columbiana.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Lamar Tew of Dothan and Jetta Hathaway Farmer and the late Charles Edward Farmer of Slocomb. She is a graduate of Troy University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. Currently, she is completing a master of science degree in elementary education and is a teacher in the Dothan City Schools System.

Mr. Oliver is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Bennefield of Gardendale and Myrtle Oliver and the late Jerry Oliver of Carrollton, Ga. He graduated from Shelby County High School in 2007 and is a graduate of Troy University with a degree in insurance and risk management. He resides in Atlanta, Ga., where he is employed with Insurance House.

The couple will be married on May 31, 2014, at The Waters in Pike Road and will reside in Smyrna Georgia.
