All December long Shelby Humane Society has $25 adoption fees on all adoptable pets to help place more of our community’s homeless pets into loving homes. Meet two of the many special pets needing your help.

Salem is a 1-year-old, 50-pound, female Shar-Pei/Chow mix. If you are looking to add some pep to your step, this bright and energetic girl is the pooch for you. With some basic training, Salem will thrive as she shows off just how smart she is.

Dyson is a 3-month-old, black and white, short-haired kitten. He is perfectly kitten—curious, playful and outgoing. He is also a loving little cuddle bug ready to join a family of his own. He would adapt well with other cats, with dogs and with children.
