Elvis and Nemo are ready to leave the building

All December long Shelby Humane Society has $25 adoption fees on all adoptable pets to help place more of our community’s homeless pets into loving homes. Meet two of the many special pets needing your help.
First, meet Nemo, a 20-pound, 6-year-old, long-haired dachshund mix with oodles of personality in a small package. Cute and curious, he will deliver a dose of adventure to your life. Nemo is pretty sure he is the star in the film called life and he adores being the center of attention. With his larger-than-life point of view, we suggest a meet and greet with the whole family. You can give this story a happy-ever-after ending by helping to find Nemo a forever home.
And then there is Elvis, our hunk, a hunk of kitty love. This 6-month-old tabby and white cat makes all the staff and volunteers swoon. The whole SHS crew is trying to find him a new place to dwell with a family that can’t help falling in love with him. His eyes beg, “Love me tender, love me sweet, never let me go. You have made my life complete, and I love you so.” Elvis is at the adoption center at Petsmart on Hwy 280. Go visit him there and help Elvis finally leave the building.
