CSX will not close Old Town Helena railroad crossing this weekend

HELENA – The CSX railroad company has cancelled plans to close a railroad crossing on Shelby County 261 in Old Town Helena on Saturday, according to a statement from the Helena Police Department.
“The crossing will not be closed this weekend,” the statement read. “The exact dates that the repair work will be completed have not been announced at this point.”
CSX will still close two railroad crossings in Pelham on Sunday, Nov. 24. One affected crossing is located near the intersection of Shelby County 52 and Lee Street and the other is on Stonehaven Trail, according to previous reports.
