This week, we at Shelby Humane want to highlight ONE particularly special dog who is in need of her forever home.

Gabby is a 2 year old female American English Coonhound mix. After 4 ½ months in shelter care, this sweet girl is ready to belong to a family. She’s full of energy, so she needs a home that is willing to give her the exercise she needs. She’s great with children, and gets a long really well with other dogs. She goes out into play group every morning, and has just the best time playing with the other dogs. So a home with other dogs would not only give her something to occupy her, but someone to “show her the ropes” of being in a home.
