Hundreds gathered at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena on Oct. 8 for the inaugural Taste of Pelham event, which featured fare from dozens of local restaurants, live music and a silent auction.

Pelham Public Library Director Barbara Roberts said she was “extremely pleased” with the turnout, and said the event raised more than $6,000 to benefit the library’s building fund. Pelham Mayor Gary Waters said the Taste of Pelham will become an annual event in the future, and could even be held a couple of times per year.
