Dear Editor,

On Sept. 30, I was involved in a frightening three-vehicle collision at the intersection of U.S. 280 and Shelby County 47 in Chelsea. To my knowledge, there were no serious injuries, which was nothing short of a miracle given the damage sustained by the vehicles.

I would like to publicly thank the very kind lady who arrived on the scene and helped me immediately following the accident as well as the gentleman who notified my husband.

Further thanks to the kind and professional Chelsea Fire and Rescue personnel who assisted at the scene as well as the Shelby Emergency Department medical staff who attended me. You are all heroes to me and my family and I are forever grateful!
