MONTEVALLO – A University of Montevallo employee was airlifted by helicopter to an area hospital after being injured in a work-related accident Oct. 2, according to media and community relations specialist Marsha Littleton.

The injured employee works at the physical plant, and the status of his injuries are unknown at this time. No students or faculty were involved in the incident, Littleton said.
