HARPERSVILLE – The entire length of Alabama 76 is currently closed from Alabama 25 to U.S. 280 while Shelby County sheriff’s deputies clear debris from the road after a semi-truck overturned at the intersection of Alabama 76 and Shelby County 79.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to assist Harpersville Police at approximately 9 a.m. Sept. 3 after a truck hauling bagged fertilizer overturned on Alabama 76, according to a Shelby County Sheriff’s Office press release.

A small amount of fertilizer spilled on the road, which deputies are currently working to clear. Check back for updates as they become available.
