James Robert “Bud” McGuire, age 76, of Jemison, passed away on July 7, 2013. He was born on Nov. 29, 1936, the son to the late Andrew Jackson McGuire and Frances Elizebeth McGuire.

Survivors are his wife, Maggie Sue McGuire; sister, Barbara Foster (John); brother, Jack McGuire (Betty); five children, Robbie McGuire (Connie), Kathryn Littlefield (Pat), Vicki Shaner (Ricky), Kelly Thomas (Lyle) and Wendy Vowell (Sean); 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. There were no services just a private ceremony.
