The Alabama Department of Transportation will continue road closures on Alabama 119 this week as the agency continues repaving the road.

The lane closures will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 17, and will last until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18. The closures will last each night through the evening of Friday, June 21.

ALDOT will close various portions of the northbound and southbound lanes of Alabama 119 from the intersection of U.S. 280 to the Shelby-Jefferson County line, according to an ALDOT road advisory issued on June 14.

ALDOT also is closing portions of Interstate 65 and Alabama 119 in Alabaster in Montevallo this week.
