The Vincent Yellow Jackets wrapped up regular season play April 26 with a 13-5 win at Fayetteville. Vincent opened the season February 21 with a 7-3 loss to Fayetteville.

Makalla Odom picked up the win allowing only one earned run and six hits. She allowed two walks, but hit six batters and struck out three. Jameia White led the way at the plate going 3-for-4. Ashley Taylor was 2-for-5 with three RBIs. Courtney Barber and Makalla Odom both had two RBIs.

Vincent is now 16-12 and will host the area tournament on April 30 with games starting at 11:00 am. The area champion and runner up will both advance to the regionals in Tuscaloosa on May 10-11.
