Horseshoe Bend rallies to force Vincent to third game

The Vincent Yellow Jackets were one out away from closing out their Class 2A first round playoff series against Horseshoe Bend April 20.
However, the Generals rallied to score three runs in the sixth inning of game-two to hand Vincent a 4-2 loss and forcing a decisive game-three.
The Yellow Jackets scored a run in the fourth and fifth innings to take a 2-1 lead before the Horseshoe Bend rally in the sixth.
DJ Brasher pitched six innings and allowed one earned run on five hits with three strikeouts and a walk. Gere Chatham went 1-for-3 with a double and a RBI while Zach Baucom went 1-for-2 with a RBI in the game-two loss.
The Yellow Jackets started the day with a 6-0 victory in game-one. Vincent scored four runs in the third and added two more in the sixth to take the win.
Hayden Laddie pitched five scoreless innings and allowed five hits with two strikeouts in the win.
Daniel Hawkins led the Yellow Jackets with a 3-for-4 effort with a triple, two RBIs and a run. Cade Carroll added a 1-for-2 performance with a double and a RBI while Chase Howard was 1-for-3 with a triple and a RBI.
