Six Shelby County baseball teams learned their playoff opponents as the Alabama High School Athletic Association released the 2013 playoff brackets April 15.

Vincent, Thompson and Pelham will all host first round playoff series after winning their respective areas. Vincent will host Horseshoe Bend with a doubleheader starting at 4:30 p.m. Thompson will host Spain Park Friday and Pelham will take on Prattville at home with both doubleheaders starting at 4:30 p.m. on April 19.

Indian Springs will travel to take on American Christian at 4 p.m. on Friday while Briarwood Christian will face Chilton County on the road at 4 p.m.

All match-ups are a best-of-3 series with doubleheaders on Friday night. If a third game is needed, they would be played on Saturday, April 20.
